Micro Braids

Visit me at www.kristenlock.com to learn how to get my DVD that will teach you how to do many of the techniques you see here on my blog.

Here are Micro braids done with synthetic hair. The brand of hair used was Hadora. The hair style was Hollywood curl, and the color was T2/130. I really liked this synthetic hair because it didn't tangle as much as other synthetic hair that I have used in the past. My client said that she bought this hair in Germany so I am not sure if you can buy it here in the states but that's why I LOVE the Internet! I am sure that someone somewhere is selling it. Check out some of the links on this page because on of these sites might have it!

Kinky twists

Visit me at www.kristenlock.com to learn how to get my DVD that will teach you how to do many of the techniques you see here on my blog.

I used 3 1/4 packs of Masterpiece Kinky twist hair. I really like this hair. I do however prefer the Nafty Collection but when Nafty Collection is nowhere to be found then I surly recommend Masterpiece as a great synthetic hair to use for Kinky twists. So for all of you who would like to have me do your kinky twists please send me an email at kristen.braids@gmail.com and I will make your hair experience the best you have ever had! Happy Holidays!

I hope you all like and enjoy all the new styles that I bring to you all! Please check out some of the links on the page to see if there is hair that you would like to purchase so that you too can have a style like this. Some call them tree braids and some call them lacing braids, and others call them individual tree braids.... Well I don't know what you may call them but I know I like the way that they look when they are completed. They look great! And you can style them any way you want. I love their versatility. For the person that doesn't want cornrows and just has to have individuals but wants the look of the cornrow tree braids then this is the look for you. Please feel free to email me at kristen.braids.gmail.com if you would like to set up an appointment, or if you just have any questions that you would like to ask. Now I am really beginning to be a fan of the tree braids with synthetic hair. In the past I have been a human hair snob but now I am really learning to appreciate the look of synthetic hair....and the price is just right. Much cheaper then any human hair I have ever seen. So consider it in conjunction with human hair.

Feed in cornrows no knot cornrowsMore Feed in cornrows also known as no knot cornrows. This is a simple fun way to wear braids. It takes about an hour to complete and lasts for about 2 weeks! It doesn't get much better then that. Just make sure to keep your scalp moisturized and tie your hair down with a silk scarf to reduce frizzing. I used synthetic hair to achieve this braided look. Check out some of the links on this page to help you decide what type of hair you would like to purchase to achieve this braided look.
