Individual Tree braids

Here are individual tree braids done on one of my repeat customers. She had been looking for someone who knew how to do individual tree braids for 6 years and then she found me! I was so excited to do her hair because I knew this was something that she would really appreciate. This is a great style because you get the look of a full weave with the versatility of individual braids. I think this is a great look on her. FOr this client we used Janet Collection Wet and wavy hair 18inch color 4. How do you maintain the individual tree braids with the wet and wavy hair? How do you keep it looking wavy?
I LOVE how you did her hair. This is so sexy and it looks easy to take care of! The only problem I have is finding someone who can do this for me.
You maintain them just like the wet and wavy tree braids. You need to plat them at night and spay them with conditioner and water in the morning to make sure that the curls stay hydrated
Kristen is a Tree Braid MASTER!! :) I have looked everywhere for someone to do these and she did an amazing job! You could hardly tell there were braids. It looked like my hair (ecsp when it started to grow in some) and it was so easy to care for. I washed mine once a week and when i have conditioner in it, I gently comb through it. Then like Kristen said, I braid it up at night. SOOO worth it!!!
Everybody's hair is totally gorgeous but Kristen,what is the difference between individual tree braids and microbraids? Which one makes your hair grow faster?
You should plat the hair at night and spray it in the morning with a light leave in conditioner and water. I also would suggest you purchase leave-in conditioner/styling cream made by mixed chicks. You can purchase it at the link below: http://www.mixedchicks.net
